The New York Times and was quoted saying, “I had no idea three years ago that I’d be known as the girl who talks about her depression all the time. Is that something that I necessarily would have tried to seek out? No, but I’m glad that that’s how it happened.”

A small chocolate and icing coloured spider which relies on camouflage as it s main strategy. This specimen is the most common form and was about 8mm across while tucked in the hiding position.

These are quite variable with differing amounts of chocolate and white colouring through to a completely black form. The hunting strategy is probably to be unseen and just wait until a meal comes along. I didn t have my spotting glasses on at the time which I should have for such a small creature but it s symmetry gave it away. Birds don t do symmetry.
